Im almost certain that this has bin done before but i did look and didn't find one.

Anyway since we only have 4 char slot and one of those slots is reserved for PvP only chars (for most people) it would be nice to have a PvP char slot for pvp char. e.g if you make a pvp in that slot, have a bash at some pvp goodness then log out, quit or Err=7 your sed pvp char is deleted and all items not customised for that char are moved to your storage. This shouldn't put anymore strain on the servers then a char that is stuck in A-nets database. While I'm at it a Quit conform GUI would be nice i hate accident hitting the X when aiming for the _

This is basicly asking for another char slot with a twist. I highly doubt we'll get this. 4 slots is 4 slots. I can see the PvE crowd go mad allready: they have 5 chars, and we only 4!

This would be great. If you delete a char, and all non customised is put in storage space. Saves a lot of hassle (and trouble if you forget it).

Why do all people seem to want an extra PvP-only slot?

I mean, if you wanna do PvP go do PvP. Some others want PvE, let them also be able to have PvE.

i think what he is sugesting is a DEDICATED to PvP slot.
so if you love pvp AND pve, you ca still have a slot that you can play around with....
i would like to se this also....not because i want to pvp, but because its is usefull to show friends who are interested in the game.

if you have 4 slots filled with pve chars, or pvp chars even, and you want to mess around with ideas (or you have 4 pvp that you play regularly with and dont fancy wipeing) this would save a lot of problems.

like, when your guild needs a certain build, and you want to make it, but that means wipeing your current one to make it.
with a DeD PvP slot, you have one spare to use for temporary and testing, without taking down your 4 mains.

also, even if you never deal with pvp, and are just pve, you can use this slot when the new chapter comes out, or when theres other pay add ons.
i mean, are you gona just dump a fave PvE char for assassin in chap 2?
what if they all look damn crappy? if their armour is nasty and dumb looking?

with this slot, you can test out looks (if that is what dictates your chars main class like some of us..my main would have been monk main, but them girls look bad with not one of them having a full head of hair or a shade of blue...so necro it was lol)

and, lets face it....if theres even just 2 more classess in chap2, how many of us are gona want to mess about just to see what their best armours actually *look* like when dyed or worn, hmm?

/signed, not just for pvp players, but for curious pve who want to mess about with new looks while not wipeing their 4 faves...

it has been officially stated that the next chapter will have additional slots (how many is unknown).

As Gaile said it would not be fair to make you erase a character with hundreds of hours on it just to try the new stuff.

I love PvP AND PvE the same but i can only have 3 pve chars (necro /ranger/monk) id like to have a war or ele but cant because i need my last slot for PvP chars. So a Temp PvP slot would be nice

see, i dont realy *like* pvp...but that dosent mean i wont use a pvp-only slot to see what a class combi or new class armour looks like....

plus, since i hve friends that *do* pvp in other games, i can explain it best to show them how a pvp-only char is made...show them the various looks and armours, wepons ect....if they are into pve only, i can *still* show them all the various hairs, heads and skin tones without having to start a new char.

and im not unsympathetic to pvp peeps *except when they scream about getting rid of pve as they claim its useless*
i may not know how to pvp in anything but the snowball fight *grins* but that dosent mean i dont have some understanding of what they need too.
